Delhi Blast Labeled as Terror Attack: Government’s Pledge

The Union Cabinet condemned the November 10 car explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort as a grievous terrorist act. This heinous incident prompted the government to pledge justice for perpetrators, collaborators, and those behind the attack. Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the Cabinet meeting, emphasizing the need for swift action.

The Cabinet expressed profound grief over the lives lost in this tragic event and observed two minutes of silence in memory of the victims. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw described the incident as an assault on national security.

“The nation has faced a terrorist attack executed by anti-national forces through this car explosion,” Vaishnaw stated while presenting the resolution. The Cabinet conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of those deceased and urged a speedy recovery for the injured.
