National Wildlife Week: Wildlife Protection Division Kargil organizes backyard birding, cleanliness drive in Suru Valley

Kargil, October 06, 2024: On the 5th day of National Wildlife Week, the Wildlife Protection Division Kargil today organized a backyard birding and cleanliness drive in Suru Valley (Khachan, Faroona).Children of CCI Bal-Ashram Kargil took part in the event. A wildlife representative spoke about different species, their habits, and the importance of preserving habitats through backyard birding.The representative emphasized the opportunity to connect with nature, learn about the significance of wildlife, and discussed how humans can coexist with it.This year’s Wildlife Week-2024 theme is celebrating nature’s beauty and highlighting the vital importance of conserving wildlife.
