Leh, 08 Oct, 2024: The Advisor to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Dr Pawan Kotwal, chaired a meeting to review the progress of developmental projects/ works of various departments being executed by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) at the Conference Hall, UT Secretariat, Leh.During the meeting, the Director of Finance, Dr Safdar Ali, briefed the Advisor, Dr Pawan Kotwal, about the budget allocations provided to various departments to execute developmental works through the Central Public Works Department (CPWD).Dr Kotwal emphasized the need to expedite budget allocation processes and directed the CPWD to ensure that projects are completed within the set timeframes. He also instructed the concerned departments to properly use the funds, ensuring they are effectively utilized to complete the developmental works.Advisor Dr Pawan Kotwal emphasized the importance of collective efforts from all officers to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the utilization of resources. He stressed that every rupee spent must contribute meaningfully to the holistic development of Ladakh.
