Amit Shah Pays Tribute to Pulwama Martyrs, Reaffirms India’s Resolve Against Terrorism

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday paid homage to the CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, stating that terrorism is the greatest enemy of humanity and India remains firmly committed to eradicating it completely.

In a message posted on X, Shah said the nation would always remain indebted to the courage, dedication, and supreme sacrifice of security forces and agencies that confront terrorism. He emphasized that India stands resolute in its fight against terror.

On February 14, 2019, a suicide bomber affiliated with Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a bus carrying personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Pulwama, killing 40 jawans.

In response to the attack, Indian Air Force fighter jets carried out airstrikes on terror training camps in Balakot, located deep inside Pakistan, days after the incident.
